At Poripurok, we want every student to feel confident about their subscription. This Refund Policy explains the limited circumstances in which a refund may be issued and the process for requesting one. Please read it carefully before making a purchase.

1. Subscription Model
Poripurok offers monthly subscription plans billed on a recurring basis. When you purchase a subscription, you are purchasing access to the Platform’s features for the duration of that billing period. All payments are processed through bKash or other authorised payment gateways available in the application.
Because access to the Platform’s features begins immediately upon payment, subscriptions are generally non-refundable once the billing period has started. However, we recognise that exceptional circumstances arise, and the situations below describe when a refund may be considered.

2. When a Refund May Be Issued
A refund request will be considered only in the following circumstances:
- Technical inaccessibility. You were completely unable to access the Platform due to a verified technical failure on our end, and the issue was not resolved within 48 hours of your report. This does not include issues caused by your device, internet connection, or operating system incompatibility.
- Duplicate payment. You were charged more than once for the same subscription period due to a payment processing error. Proof of both charges must be provided.
- Unauthorised transaction. A subscription was purchased using your payment method without your knowledge or consent. You must notify us within 7 days of the transaction date and provide supporting documentation.
- Service not delivered as described.A specific feature that was explicitly advertised as active (“LIVE”) at the time of your purchase was unavailable for an extended period due to our failure, and you did not meaningfully use any other feature during that period.
All refund requests are subject to review and verification by our team. Approval is not guaranteed even in the situations listed above if the usage data indicates meaningful engagement with the Platform.
প্রযুক্তিগত সমস্যা, ডুপ্লিকেট পেমেন্ট, অননুমোদিত লেনদেন, বা প্রতিশ্রুত সার্ভিস না পেলে রিফান্ডের জন্য আবেদন করা যাবে।
3. When a Refund Will Not Be Issued
Refunds will not be issued in the following situations:
- The refund request is made more than 7 days after the transaction date.
- You have used the Platform features during the billing period — including asking questions, completing practice sessions, or accessing any AI-generated content.
- You changed your mind about the subscription after purchase.
- You were dissatisfied with the quality of AI responses, as AI output quality is inherently variable and this does not constitute a service failure.
- Your device, internet connection, or operating system is incompatible with the Platform.
- You forgot to cancel your subscription before the renewal date.
- The refund request relates to a free-tier feature or a promotional offer explicitly marked as non-refundable.

4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, you must contact us by email within 7 days of the transaction date. Your request must include:
- the phone number or email address registered on your Poripurok account;
- the date and amount of the transaction;
- a clear description of the reason for the refund request; and
- supporting evidence where applicable (e.g., screenshot of duplicate payment, bKash transaction ID).
Requests submitted by any means other than email to the address above will not be processed.

5. Refund Processing
Upon receiving your request, our team will review it and notify you of the outcome within 3 business days. If your request is approved:
- The refund will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase (e.g., the same bKash account).
- Processing may take 7 to 14 business days depending on the payment gateway. We have no control over the timelines imposed by payment processors.
- Upon approval, your subscription access will be revoked and any associated session data for that billing period may be removed.
If you do not receive your refund within 14 business days of approval, please contact us again at hello@poripurok.com.
অনুমোদিত রিফান্ড ৭–১৪ কার্যদিবসের মধ্যে মূল পেমেন্ট মেথডে ফেরত দেওয়া হবে।
6. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or bKash without first contacting us, we reserve the right to suspend your account pending resolution of the dispute and to contest the chargeback with evidence of service delivery.
We strongly encourage users to reach out to us directly before escalating to their payment provider, as most issues can be resolved promptly.
আমাদের সাথে যোগাযোগ না করে সরাসরি bKash বা ব্যাংকে বিরোধ দায়ের করলে অ্যাকাউন্ট সাময়িকভাবে স্থগিত হতে পারে।
7. Cancellation of Subscription
Cancelling your subscription is different from requesting a refund. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the app settings. Upon cancellation:
- You retain access to paid features until the end of the current billing period.
- No further charges will be made after the current period ends.
- Cancellation does not entitle you to a refund of any fees already paid for the current period.
সাবস্ক্রিপশন বাতিল করলে বর্তমান বিলিং পিরিয়ড শেষ না হওয়া পর্যন্ত সুবিধা পাবেন। পূর্বে পরিশোধিত অর্থ ফেরত দেওয়া হবে না।
8. Modifications to This Policy
Poripurok reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. For active subscribers, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes before they take effect. Continued use of the Platform following any change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

9. Governing Law
This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. Any dispute arising from this policy that cannot be resolved informally shall be subject to the dispute resolution process described in our Terms and Conditions.
